Welcome to my first BLOG!
As a Driving Instructor I am on the road for the biggest part of the day. I see many mistakes made with indicators and absolute neglect to the use of indicators.
A reminder of what an indicatoris for:
An indicator is to show your intention of direction. So please remember that the drivers around you cannot read your mind as to your intended direction, unless you inform them by actually using the indicators.
When should I indicate?
Always at Junctions and roundabouts at all times.
When moving off/stopping and changing lanes if there is any other road user around to benefit from your intended indication.
Please remember to let others know of your intentions, especially Learner Drivers. Many Learners can become confused if they do not see the other vehicles indicating the way in which they are being taught.
